Do you need to play the first Xenoverse?

Hi,


I have yet to actually finish the first Xenoverse since I have had other games to play and then working full time. But this game looks so gorgeous and looks like it has improved on a lot from the first Xenoverse. If I were to pick this up, would I be missing anything since I haven't completed the first game?
